Authorized access to licensed electronic resources is based on Max Planck Institute campus IP addresses.

Consequently, when on-campus, users can access content without additional authentication and do not need any user name & password, not even for single sign on.

Please note that not all IP ranges of a Max Planck Institute are authorized but only those used by scientific staff and guests of the institute.

The Max Planck Digital Library takes care that IP updates are authorized by providers of content licensed MPG-wide.
